Songle is an eco-friendly cold cup exclusively for iced drinks, developed by rePAPER, with a cool and sophisticated design.   Eco-friendly collaboration between Colorlab Jeju and rePAPER This specific cold cup by rePAPER was developed under collaboration with Colorlab Jeju, a company that documents and researches Jeju’s natural colors. It was launched as ‘JejurangReparang’. Colorlab Jeju is an art studio run by Kim MyungEun, who majored in industrial design and counseling. Do You Still Think BIODEGRADABLE Plastic Is Eco-friendly?

The use of disposables has been rapidly increased since COVID19 outbreak. Some consumers purchase ‘ environmentally friendly ’ products described as biodegradable or compostable in the belief that they are making a better choice for the environment. But, does our decision really bring the result as we wish and expect? According to Jason Locklin, the director of New Materials Institute of the University of Georgia, expressions like ‘ biodegradable ’ or ‘ compostable ’ confuse not only customers but also experts in the fields, for such products may only be degraded under certain conditions and mess up with recycling stream. California to Ban Groundless ‘Eco-friendly’ Marketing!

As the world has become more aware of how closely we are connected to nature, each country starts to implement resolute policies to stop pollution and preserve what is left. Among them, California is surely the leading state in the U.S. to act fastest for the environment.
